In John 11, there's a story about Lazarus, a guy that we all might be familiar with. From the scriptures, we know that Jesus loved Lazarus. There are many lessons we can get from that passage of scripture and what stuck out the most for me is the phrase, "grave clothes". Lazarus had died for a few days and when he arose, he came out in his grave clothes. The clothes that represented his sickness. The clothes that represented early demise. The clothes that represented stuff that wasn't comfortable. And many times, we come to God with so much baggage and we live our entire Christian lives in our grave clothes. Jesus commanded that Lazarus's grave clothes be loosed. Lazarus came out bound and chained. How many of us are still linked to our past? How many of us are still carrying the weight of sin and guilt that Jesus came to die for? In this book, we'll discover what it means to live in freedom.

I have only been a Christian for 6 years and in the 6 years I have been Christian, there is nothing that has helped me more than the power of prayer. No one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. You can learn by reading His Word, the Bible. God will let you understand what He wants you to understand, when He wants you to understand, and how He wants you to understand - He is the only one who really understands you. Are we living in the end of time? Only God knows that, but there are some telling signs in the Bible. The only thing we can really do is love and trust God. Here is how I post my entries - I open the Bible and post what I see, at least about 90% of the time. I really feel that God or the Holy Spirit is directing me. I can't explain some of them. Hey, I am just a normal sinner like everyone else. I need and ask for His forgiveness daily. I feel, if God wants you to, you will read my entries, well, His entries.
