Sarah Waters has always looked to at the mountains surrounding her small valley as a the only stable, unchanging thing in her life. Ever since she started 7th grade bad things have been happening, her parents are on the brink of divorce, her cat, Juniper, has run away, and her best friend moving across the country! When Sarah thinks nothing could make things worse, theres a shift, a change in the wind, then suddenly there gone. The only stable thing in her life disappearing without a trace. The mountains are gone.

When a group of high school friends hear their school plans to take fifteen kids on a field trip that involves no learning, Liam, Amanda, and Ethan are up for the challenge.
