Imélie, a former top female collegiate quiz bowler, now finds herself longing for her undergraduate days as she works as a software engineer; she is given the opportunity to relive her quiz bowl glory days when offered a promotion at work, by acting as a player-coach on her old collegiate team, the Tulane Green Wave. Her drive to rebuild the Green Wave's quiz bowl program at any cost forces her to face her inner demons as well as her own past, while, as the Green Wave's season shows sign of promise under her leadership, her players are pushed to the edge.
