You know I never gave it much thought. The day that would change my life forever. The day I met soulmate. It would theoretically be the happiest day of my life too bad I don't remember it. My parents aren't that into the soulmate thing so I never really cared. I heard that from my friend Anji she loves all that sort of stuff. You can meet your soulmate once you're born though some never find theirs in their lifetime. It is unlikely because fate normally pulls you and your soulmate together at least once. And once you've met your soulmate you never want to leave them. They are literally the other half of your soul. Many things can trigger your connection to your soulmate, touch, a brush by them, being close to them or sometimes for the lucky cases they know each other by eye contact. When you meet them you get a mark somewhere on yourself (not there you dirty minded people) and it can be anything. Depending on your mark you receive a special power like a person who got a dragon mark could turn into a dragon with practice. Apparently I was one of those people who got a mark early in life. The gift of that would be that the mark grows with you and you learn to use it better. I would call it a curse because I can't remember meeting my soulmate. I got my mark when I was probably a month old but my parents don't know for sure. My mark is a pair of white wings on my back but it has evolved and changed as I have as a person. The wings got bigger and bigger with me. Oh! Before I forget my name's Liam.

This is a mxm story if you don't like that leave. Also I'm not against constructive criticism but no hate comments I will delete them.
