Lost Souls Collide

Violet feels as if she she will never be truly happy again, after her mother abandons her in the busy streets of New York. She searches for her for hours, until a young woman asks her if she is okay. Violet later on ends up in a foster home, losing all hope of ever finding her mom. She feels lost and broken. However, she soon realizes that she is not the only one who feels lost, when she meets Sam, a boy in her grade. They find each other, and as a result, they find themselves, too, and help each other heal from the wounds of their past.
