Slap came harder, knocking her to the floor. Tears welled as she looked up at him, trembling.

"Who gave you permission to go to his house? If I tell you something, you follow it. This is my house. You live here, you listen to me. Can't you understand a simple thing?" he roared.

Roshni forced herself up, fire in her tear-filled eyes.

"Then stay in your house. I don't want to live here. Take everything you gave me!" She throw her bag, phone shoes and shirt at him.

Daksh's grip clamped around her arms. "What do you think you're doing?"

Before he could say more, her palm struck his cheek. The slap echoed in the open area. She shoved him back, turned on her heel, and stormed out.
