In a world that has nothing but disgust and hate how will a pure heart survive, one example of that pure heart it Issei Hyoudou oldest son of the Hyoudou family.

Issei was not gifted with anything in his life not even the supernatural world, he was a outcast in both worlds. He was abused by his parents and at school due to him not being enough, they even compared him to his younger sister who was a year younger than him.

Yui Hyoudou a girl blessed with unnatural talent and beauty that no one had ever seen before. She was the golden child of the family everyone loves her but hated Issei. 

If you think the supernatural world is any better you are wrong it was worse, much worse Issei suffered far worse from being betrayed by Raynare, suffering the instance pain by 4 light spear for Asia, being told the truth about his reincarnation to the grueling training for the fight with Riser and pain of scarifying his arm for Rias.
