Mature
After discovering clues from her astray father, the first hybrid offspring joins forces with her ragtag friends, embarking on a mission to regain the planet Safforia from the dystopian regime.

                                                       *****

When humankind discovers the planet Safforia, they coexist with the native safforian species until the Men Of Suits seizes blissfulness. Ocea, the first half-human, half-safforian descendant, hides her secret while running from their control. The cruel tyranny exploits microchips to control the population by erasing minds and deciding the future.

On an assignment for the rebel group, she runs into her chipped childhood friend and discovers his blurry memories might be intact. The challenge is for them to overtake the government before they become a pawn in the apocalypse.

Maroli Tango by AuthorJohnDyer

Nobody expects the Sasquatch Intervention! A Vedic text tells of ancient gods who cast a shadow upon the Earth, shielding humanity from an angry sun. Or, as history books will soon report: when Sol last went micro-nova, Mercury, Venus, and the Anye migration fleet were positioned in eclipse, the latter on purpose. Earth was scorched - but not destroyed. The event is cyclical, coming around again, and fortunately, Vidura's furry pilgrims are still living in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the fleet is in mothballs. The planets will not be lining up to help. Two million light years away on the planet of the Unseen, a potentially hostile race of bird-folk have demonstrated the ability to get here from there. The natives will have to dig in, hands on Anye technology, with President of the United States Carmen Benequista leading Earth's ruling elite into an age of service to humanity. It's a dicey proposition, at best. Meanwhile, Carmen - sixty, widowed - is in late-life crisis. She has a suitor; human, Filipino/American, 15 years younger, recently associated with the Anye Space Mafia. Good for her, maybe. Entering stage left, the elevated maroli. Labor appliances of the nightmare variety. Egg-shaped grav-lift chassis. Bio-engineered tentacles strong enough to pull your arms off. Self-aware not by design - possessed perhaps by spirits of the dead. And who knows what the maroli are up to? Something wholesome, we hope. Will Earth be saved, only to perish in a war between cosmic rivals? Has the President found true love? Is it rude to attend a party with fighting drones in tow? Action, intrigue, space soap opera - A genre-bending tale of life, love, and uncertain outcomes. ᶲᶲᶲᶲᶲᶲᶲᶲ Click on my website URL, listed on the Wattpad author's profile, for more information.

It is a slow burn, but worth it. ~ After a devastating alien invasion leaves Earth in ruins, humanity struggles to survive in isolated zones, clinging to life behind barriers of failing technology. Lena, a skilled engineer with fierce determination, dedicates her life to maintaining what little remains of this protective technology-especially the light posts that keep the Xyvarians at bay. But when a search for medicine pulls her outside the safe zone, she encounters a certain alien. Towering, muscular, and adorned with sharp, curving horns, this alien is a calculated hunter, though his interest in Lena is anything but logical. Drawn to her, he pursues her in a dangerous game of cat and mouse, one that blurs the line between predator and prey. As Lena fights to evade capture, the tension between them ignites into a charged, forbidden attraction that neither can fully understand. He is unlike any alien she's ever faced-Machiavellian, dangerous, unyielding, yet inexplicably captivated by her. Lena, wary and unwilling to surrender, finds herself both repelled and fascinated by the Xyvarian who watches her with a gaze that burns with something far more primal. As she grapples with confusing desires and the disturbing revelation of a breeding program, Lena is forced to question everything-her survival, her humanity, and her heart. ~ (The artwork featured in my cover photo was sourced from Pinterest. Humanity. It goes beyond the common definition of: "a collective group of humans". It's a sense of benevolence. One may act; 'for the sake of humanity' and there are; 'crimes against humanity'. We're supposed to be proud of the human race, yet... humans are self-destructive. A group of elite alien race came to Earth and proved once and for all that we were our own worst enemy. They weren't wrong. but it was too late. They managed to save Earth- eradicating pollution and reversing global warming but they killed anyone who got in their way and indoctrinated the rest. Those who remained revolted. World War III resulted- killing the planet. The War ended but the battle was not won. The fight continues on, despite the destroyed society and Earth we call home. It's a relentless fight between those who want the world to go back to the way it was and those who still fight to hold on to their humanity- no matter what. We self-destruct but we also fight for what's right. It's a delicate balance- it's an art form.
