Obito became the Jūbi Jinchuuriki and consequently got smacked to oblivion and back, with words and Naruto's fists.
He died protecting the hailed boy of prophecy and his bonds, a smile on his face as he went to join Rin and Minato in the afterlife.
But things didn't go as expected, and it seems that life has more plans for him...

"The Namikaze clan huh?", Itachi took a step closer, his eyes calm, but fixated. I took a step further back as I kept reminding myself that this is no ordinary Uchiha. "Prove this battle worthwhile", he says as the wind died down and there was a split second before his eyes sparked in the dead of night and he hissed, "Mangeyko Sharingan" ------------------------- Whether you love him or hate him Itachi Uchiha is a hero, but what would happen if on the night of the tragedy someone were to stop him from committing the infamous Uchiha massacre? Insert Hanabi Namikaze, one of the few left of her clan. With Lord Danzo planning his moves within the shadows, and when Itachi is torn between "the village or the clan", Hanabi, having inherited the Will of Fire will do what's necessary to prevent a civil war within the Leaf. And maybe Itachi could learn that shouldering the weight of his problems is better done when you have a trusted comrade. After all she's a powerful disciple of the Leaf's Yellow Flash. Naruto: Reborn as an Uchiha
This is my 1st story :D well technically the 2nd but... Summary Below: A simple fantasy of a young boy wanting to have the powers of a Naruto character leads to an unwavering passion that leads him to pursue that as his dream. Although he partially succeeds in his dream, his life was ended short because of the treachery of his employer. Waking up, he finds himself as an Uchiha fetus in the Narutoverse. Knowing everything that will happen, and being capable of so many things what will Tatsuya do? Will he prevent things? Save people? Or become a villain? With so many possibilities, what will he do with his new life? [Slow Updates] This is a WIP not done and the title might not be official. We all know and love Naruto Uzumaki. Yes? Yet do we really know him? The real Naruto? No, apparently we don't. Naruto Uzumaki wasn't called the most unpredictable ninja for nothing. Turns out our Naruto wasn't who he really was. A little bit of deception maybe? Yet we find out. His family situation wasn't really what we thought it was either.
