"You are like nothin' I have ever seen before, Firecracker." He smirked widely, showing off his canines and using the 'affectionate' nickname he had dubbed you with. You just laughed, hopping down from your make-shift tower, "Yeah, I get that a lot," you grinned back at him with his own cigarette hanging from your lips. ------------------------------- Billy Hargrove, from what you could tell, was troubled, in a lonely sort of way. He slept with nearly every girl in school to probably fill some kind of void, or prove something to someone. You, on the other hand, couldn't give half a shit what anyone or anything thought about you. And why should you? Not like there was much you could do to try and get in with the popular kids, not while being Eddie 'The Freak' Munson's twin. So, what were you to do when a simple steal of a drug deal led to you unknowingly stealing Billy Hargrove's heart? ------------------------------- This plot follows parts of Chapter Two and Chapter Four of Stranger Things, simply because I enjoy the plotlines of both. It sort of mashes them together. Essentially just add Billy and his crap into Chapter Four. If you're not into merging plots and scripts, then this book is probably not for you. The reader in this book is a closeted trans male(I'll explain more on that later) that goes by he/they/it pronouns, as well as a few neos, because that's all I'm really comfortable with writing as of now. That may change in the future. This is a slow burn romance book, but nothing like a Hate to Love romance; more like Intrigue to Love. The POV may be switched between chapters just to get more thoughts and monologue from different characters, but it's nearly always third person. Without further a due, enjoy.<3
