the chronicles of a not very stable person recorded through diary entries. a new age 'no longer human'
disclaimer: although this is similar to the popular book by osamu dazai called 'no longer human.' i am not in any way copying the concept or trying to imitate/mimic anything, a sad book through diary entries is a common concept and i started writing this long before i had finished reading no longer human but it will still be mentioned several times throughout as it is one of my favorite books.

From Within The Shadow
Introduction I started a different walk in life in 2007. I have always jotted down ditties from time to time; the ones in this book came about with a massive change within my life. It appeared sometimes as if I had no control over the flow of words. The first sentence would come through and that would be that until the poem was finished, regardless of the length. I started taking a notebook and pen with me everywhere I went so I could write if I needed to. The last one of the book 'Now' marks the end of an era. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them. As we go through life, we meet people who leave pieces of themselves within us. They touch our hearts in ways we never expect, changing us little by little until we become someone different. Their footprints stay with us, reminding us that no matter how much we want to, we can never go back to the person we used to be. And then, there was him. We found each other at exactly the right time, as if our paths had always been meant to cross. Loving him came naturally, and in his arms, I found a place that finally felt like home. For a while, everything made sense. It felt like the universe had written our story long before we ever met. But even the most beautiful stories can fall apart. Without warning, the life we built together slowly slipped through our fingers. The dreams we held onto, the love we shared, and the future we imagined became fragile, breaking apart piece by piece until all that remained were memories. He was the one who taught me how to love. But standing here in the silence he left behind, I realized he had forgotten to teach me the hardest part...how to let him go. Some days, the weight of missing him is almost too much to bear. Still, I'd choose this pain over never having loved him at all, because every ache is proof that what we had was real. When the rest of the band stepped away slightly Dalton put his arm around my waist and I thought my knees were going to buckle. I knew what I was going to do, and I needed all the courage I could muster up. As my brother's thumb goes down to take the photo I suddenly turn my head, close my eyes, and kiss Dalton right on the cheek. Dalton is known as a "rockstar" playing shows every night in the biggest cities. Juliet is a wallflower ballerina in a small town. What happened when their world collide? And what will happen when someone from Daltons life tries to take what's rightfully his? An even bigger twist, you get to decide the ending. This was originally FacFiction that I changed into a sort of kind of legitimate story. I started it in high school and my 24 year old self is trying desperately to fix it because I've written two sequels to it as an adult. I'll also be publishing them once this one is fully published.
