"Ah, the moon," the Doctor said, turning and laying on his back, his head on Catherine's lap. She laughed and pushed it off gently. He laughed as well. As each Doctor views the transmission differently according to his vastly varying personalities, the thirteen men and their companions set course to the massive vessel. But is it truly someone in need, or the most elaborate trap the Doctor had ever encountered? Join the Doctors, his most popular companions, and two surprise guests as they unravel the mystery of the Menagerie! This was fun to write, as I have been a fan of Doctor Who since I was nine years old during the Tom Baker era. I studied hard to try to capture each Doctor's personality as they speak and interact, although I do admit that having a cast of 28 causes several characters to get lost within the dialogue. I made this as canonically correct as possible, pulling each Doctor and his corresponding companion from episodes to make this possible, but if you catch me in an error... I claim AU! Ha ha. It is for all intents and purposes a Capaldi episode, within his first season, long before Face the Raven. This is a Doctor Who fanfic for superfans only, as the entire first section only describes each Doctor by his attire, so you have to guess which is which by their apparel and companions.
