Yakshinis are ambiguous, mystically powerful women. They are known as guardians of hidden treasures and also the ones who give blessings. But on the other hand, they are too believed to be reincarnations of innocent women murdered brutally. The dead souls of the female victims are reincarnated as Yakshinis. These pretty and attractive, shapeshifting women turn into ferocious beings with deadly fangs and red eyes at will. The pale golden skin complexion turns into greenish dark complexion at night. These ferocious vampire like beings hunt for the murderers and then suck blood from their bodies. A massacre caused by a revengeful Yakshini couldn't be stopped until all her culprits were punished by her. ******************** Author's Note: The story is setup in a fictional (Ancient Indian) kingdom of Uttampur. The folk legends of Yakshini are famous in India. The description and nature of Yakshinis is slightly (dramatically) modified by me here in the story to add elements of slasher horror and paranormal horror. The concept of Nagarvadhu (Bride of City) is also based on an ancient indian practice of selecting the most talented and beautiful lady as Nagarvadhu. If anybody's sentiments are hurt then I'm sorry. I hope readers have a good reading experience. ⚠️⚠️Warnings: Violence and scenes of murder. Slightly mature themes.
