A spot at Adix High was hard to come by. One of the most exclusive institutions in the world, it catered exclusively to the children of the affluent.
So what else happened? Access to Adix was restricted to the supernatural; mortals had no shot at admission unless they were very wealthy.
Otana is a girl from the lowest social class who, by a combination of scholarship and sheer luck, has been able to enroll in Adix High. Now that she is there, she is surrounded by students from higher social classes and by the children of affluent families, but she feels invincible and intends to stay that way until she graduates.
Her new best friend at school, however, has a dramatic reversal of fortune when she crosses paths with the school's worst bully, a man of superior position, social standing, and financial resources compared to anybody else in the nation, much alone the school.
Her life has taken a terrible turn, yet she refuses to give up; her determination has won the admiration of some and the enmity of others. But one person has made up their mind to keep fighting for her and will never let her go.
