A group of friends grew close over their time at Jujutsu U. Rayomi Imaki, Suguru Geto, and Satoru Gojo were paired since year one. They quickly became the strongest trio in their class, each of them earning the special grade classification within their first year. Mission after mission, they learned each other's strengths and weaknesses. Rayomi and Suguru became even closer, a relationship forming from love and trust. Umekiri Asotori has always known that humans live in a world where curses manifest. Her parents were well known sorcerers who retired once they had their daughter. When she was an infant, Umekiri's parents moved to Tokyo to start a new life. There, they learn about the strange existence that is their child...

When she turns twenty, Umekiri joins Jujutsu University Tokyo. She is mentored under the one who recommended her, Satoru Gojo, and makes friends with the other first years. Here, she tries to understand her raw powers of wielding curse magic as well as the unnerving dreams and memories that surface. It isn't until a strange, dark haired man comes into her life that things finally start making sense.

After a horrible accident, she is forced to take sides in a world much deeper than she thought. How will this affect the fight between sorcerers and curses?
