A brother and a sister.

One is the captain of the hockey team in a small town while the other aspires to be the best figure skater out there. But what happens when they cross paths after a year of being apart, and everything has changed.

One doesn't want to be seen by the other, rather wanting to leave the small town for bigger opportunities and the other has lost their aspirations to be the best figure skater, rather wanting to be on the ice hockey team.

Everyone thought that nothing could come between the two of them, but maybe there is more to their story. Maybe they both have secrets they have been hiding for so long that they don't even know the truth.

But what happens if it isn't all about how they have changed and grown apart and that someone else was involved?

No one knows the truth, but maybe by adding the bad boy's, The Armani's, to the table will bring someone down, or someone else up.

Just bring the grandchildren of a designer together and see what happens. See who breaks first. See who messes with the Lauren's first.

"I don't know who you are anymore"

"I trusted you. I trusted that you wouldn't do that to me but you did it anyways"

"I'm not the good girl you left behind for your hockey team. People change, Aiden. I've changed and so have you"

Victoria 'Ria' Winters is the youngest out of all her quadruplet sisters; the one with the dark humor and haunting past. That's why she worked so hard for scholarships abroad to get as far away as possible. All her sisters had their own challenges, but nothing compared to Ria's past. When a traumatic event when she was 11 repeated itself when she was a freshman in college, it nearly destroyed her like the 1st time. She's learned from an early age to trust no one. Especially not men. After an assault by Vlad Wolves, the younger brother of the star hockey captain Nikolai Wolves, Ria was dragged through a brutal court case that nearly ended her. Vlad, a master manipulator and narcissist, turned the tables, leaving Ria to bear the blame and forcing her to transfer schools to escape the shame. Now, three years later, Ria has rebuild her life at one of the best universities in the world, focused solely on her studies and her future. But when Nik-who's always despised her for 'trying to ruin his family image for attention and money'-needs help to save his beloved place on the hockey team, he's forced to turn to the one person he hates most: Victoria. Nikolai had his own reasons to hate Ria. But when his powerful father, who has always had doubts about Vlad's innocence, insists that Ria tutors Nik in exchange for her fully funded graduate scholarship abroad, they're both trapped. Obviously, Ria hated that whole family for what happened freshman year in her former college. Especially Nikolai Wolves who testified against her, as if the moron had even been there when his younger brother assaulted her. Forced to work together Victoria and Nikolai's mutual hatred ignites into a battle of wills. There sessions are a minefield of cutting remarks, icy glares, and unresolved anger. But beneath the venom, there's undeniable tension-attraction. Beneath the anger and hurt, they begin to uncover the truth about each other-and about Vlad.

Alison doesn't like hockey. It isn't so much the sport itself that she doesn't like, but rather the people who play it. Growing up the daughter of a local hockey legend with a superstar brother who follows in their father's footsteps, hockey players are all she has ever been around. After a bad break-up with her brother's ex-teammate, she swore off all hockey players for life. She is sick of hockey, sick of the players, and sick of Maukingnen Falls, but she can't seem to get away from any of it. Using her dad's connections in her career doesn't exactly help the situation, but she's determined to make a name for herself outside of the hockey world. If that means name dropping her famous family to get a few meetings so she can finally move out of her hometown and leave her reputation behind her, then she'll buckle up and deal with it. That is until she takes too much of an advantage dropping her last name and somehow ends up in the showers of her hometown's hockey team. Who catches her there? None other than the team's captain. Dylan Cavanaugh doesn't like his private life on display, but being the biggest player in hockey at his young age makes it hard to keep his private life private. Things blow up when his breakup with his Hollywood actress ex-girlfriend quite literally take over the town and he can't seem to escape the attention of every reporter and single woman he sees. When he finds out the real reason the woman he caught in the showers hates hockey, he makes a proposition that could benefit both of them. Now he's in a fake relationship to avoid having to continuously deny a real one because the girl he chose would never date another hockey player. The plan is flawless: fake a relationship to break away from her family name and save him from unwanted attention. This plan could get her out of Maukingnen Falls. It could get her family to respect her again. And it could get her toxic ex-boyfriend to finally leave her alone. What could possibly go wrong?

I'm done being your pawn, done being the scared little sister. You say I betrayed you? I did, and I'd do it again. You talk about family, but where was that bond when I needed it? When I was being hunted, and had no choice but to turn on those who were supposed to protect me? I'm done with your rules and living in fear. You want to come for me? Bring it. You can't break me, Kai. Not anymore. You think you can drag me back into that dark world, but I've found my way out. So come find me if you can, but I'm not running anymore. And Damon? Thalia Anagnos-Loukanis A 14-year-old girl who has not only struggled to fit in at school but with the people that should have loved her; her family. She was the one that brought two families together. People wouldn't say the families hated one another, they would say that they chose to have nothing to do with one another. But Thalia, she was supposed to bring them together, to unite them. But rather, when she was born, it seemed to change the two families. Instead of them aweing and cooing at her, they would have banished her if they got the chance. Growing up, it became 16 against 1. Older sisters are supposed to share their clothes with their younger sisters and prepare them for what was awaiting for them. Older brothers were supposed to protect the younger ones and tease them from time to time. Not tie their baby sister to a chair and force her to eat her dinner that was just mush or make her sleep out on a cold winter's night so that her body would harden. She looked up to her eldest brothers and sisters, hoping that one day she would be loved by them like parents. But nothing changed from the cold glares and door slams in the face. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "All I wanted was to be looked at like their little sister who they loved" "Just another ordinary day of the silent treatment. I don't think they have ever spoken an endearment to my face" "The ratty hair, the ratty clothes. I probably look like I have just woken out of a trash can not a thousand dollar bed" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *TW: some themes and words may be distressing to some* ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Started: 3.10.22 Finished: - Rankings: -

18+ only #1 in Marriage of Convenience [July 2024] "The fewer people that know the truth the better. And if this all goes smoothly, you two will be able to get divorced before the hockey season ends." "I have the places where you both will sign," His eyes lifted and scanned both of us. "But only of course, if you both agree to this." "I'll do it," I said honestly. Minnow sighed outwardly and bit her bottom lip. "If you need more time-" "No," she swallowed, staring at the thick packet in front of us. "I feel like this goes without saying but...no sex. Of any kind. It only complicates things." My cheeks flushed with heat, probably turning pink and Minnow choked. "We won't..." I shook my head, clenching my jaw. Shivers crossed my back. "You don't have to worry about that," Minnow said obviously. "Trust me." ***************************************** Minnow Noel is known for two things: being a hot head and an amazing figure skater. Running from a dark relationship and a past version of herself, she ends up where her skating career all started. Norwegian native Søren Skejeggstad's only focus in life is hockey. With no time for women or a personal life, his only goal is to become the top NHL all-star. But when a major problem arises, he's at risk of losing his dreams if he doesn't figure something out. They were once friends in a past life but now things are cold as ice between them. Just the thought of Søren alone makes Minnow's blood run cold and he'd rather avoid her at all costs. But now an opportunity presents itself and wait...can they get along for a little while or will they end up killing each other before their agreement is through?
