Hwang Hyunjin has a dark, deep secret. He's a Gumiho, a nine-tailed fox, a fairy-tale they say. Whom he must consume the life force of human begins every full-moon or die an ugly death himself. He is fearful of being a wicked, heartless Gumiho, he doesn't want to be one, so even then, Hyunjin only kills when he has too. So afraid, he only kills those humans who are filthy and guilty of horrific, unspeakable crimes.
But, when Hyunjin finds Han Jisung, a cute, squirrel face looking-guy his age being attacked by a vicious spirit in the woods of Seoul. Hyunjin saves him... violating his father's rules of survival and his own ethical and moral rights. During the midst of the fight, Hyunjin loses his pale-pink fox bead, his Gumiho soul, his strength. This makes both boys go through a chain of adventures that the two boys are in a deadly situation.
Hyunjin is going to choose between his immortal life or Jisung mortal life.
