You may escape me, once, twice maybe three times if your lucky but at the end of it all, I will have your soul. I am the Grim Reaper's Daughter and your soul will be mine.

We're all born into it with this air of certainty. We always know the ground under our feet will be there tomorrow. Cammie isn't anything other than an ordinary girl who makes a mistake at a party. But her death leads to her meeting one of the reapers upset with the current state of affairs, and her life instantly gets more dangerous. While she's trailing behind this eccentric girl who claims to own her soul, she meets the very vampire that killed her- and he's not the only one who's taken an interest in her.
