I was born into the world as a regular person, or so I thought. I had a pretty normal life when I think about it. My parents weren't rich, but they defiantly weren't poor, and my only sibling was an older brother I had who was several years older than me, so we were never as close as siblings usually are. I was about to start my first day of my dream collage when I was crossing the street. As I was crossing the street, I got distracted by an elderly person crossing the street with an 18-wheeler driving slowly towards her. I rushed to help her but was shocked when she suddenly pushed me, right into the 18-wheelers path. I didn't survive. Yet I'm still in this world, but am now reborn with sharp teeth & claws, four legs, fur all over my new body, and a pride instead of a family. 'No. Go away, let me rest for a time and I'll take my babies and leave your territory.' 'You can't just wonder around with a newborn. How are you going to care for them. Come with us we'll take care of you until you get back on your feet.' 'No, I don't know you. Go away.' 'We won't hurt you.' I couldn't believe that, I couldn't trust these strangers. They were lions, lions were not known for being kind. I'd come out and they'd kill me and my babies.

I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day.
