The government.. sometimes it's best not to have one. John has had his experience with them and it isn't pretty. When he is hired to watch some important "patients" for them, he takes the job since the money is enough to pay for his sister's tuition. However, when he talks to one of the patients, he finds out about the government's sinister plan. Will he expose them and save the patients (plus the world) or will he die trying?

And the government heads on a downward spiral when Jr. Soldiers Gale Mathesin and Vala Mininger set out to save their city from being overrun with the sickness. Galactus looked at John with more stoic eyes now. He had done many things in the past and he made many bad decisions. He just wasn't sure what John was referring to so he was silent. John seeing that Galactus was silent and refused to speak said "Black Winter is coming!!" ------------- When a cinephile and an otaku/weeb travels through dimensions and gets a system which can only be described as overpowered but comes with restrictions. At first he was overjoyed with the system but soon realizes that he is in a very dangerous world where his life was at risk all the time. [Book two in 'The Test' series] The test was finally over. Everyone woke up. They all remembered what they had forgotten in the test. But even with this being the case, some have forgotten the test completely, as if it never happened. And Jack just so happens to be one of the people that can't remember the test. Lexi, John, and Natalie don't know what the reason for it is, but they're sure this is just another sick trick caused by Reid. And to make matters worse, Reid is the father Jack thought he lost years ago to a fire. The test may be over but for others, it seems, another test has just begun. Side note: This book and series has plot holes and other writing errors I hope to fix in the future. It can be a really confusing ride because I got a bit lazy in this book. Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth.
