It was the end of Morpheus. The Dreaming was destroyed, the Kindly Ones were on the rampage, and Daniel was set to become the new Dream of the Endless. So Morpheus took his sister's hand, and found himself back in 1689 with quickly fading memories of a future that would never be -never had been- and trying to fumble his way through life again with his dearest friend by his side.
Or
Morpheus gets a second chance at life, at the price of his memories of the future. But at least he's got a loyal, immortal friend by his side to help him through. A friend who could potentially be more.

This whole Sandman legend was making this job very difficult, especially when it was a matter of life and death... Charlotte Denver, preferably called Charlie has had nightmares ever since she was a young child. The now twenty-four year old couldn't remember when exactly it started, but she knew it was getting worse each year. Now desperate to get in a good night's sleep more than ever, she resorts to a new method her therapist suggested. Wearing her body out by walking or running each night. And each night, she would have someone watch her. Someone, who would soon realize that maybe Charlie's nightmares didn't come all too natural, like she always thought. Convinced he cursed her a long time ago, Morpheus Oneiroi offers to help.
