It was the end of Morpheus. The Dreaming was destroyed, the Kindly Ones were on the rampage, and Daniel was set to become the new Dream of the Endless. However, your kindness and outstanding empathy convinced the man to give you an additional task for a doubled compensation; gaining the trust of Dream Of the Endless, held captive into the basement for over a century.
