Born in the precarious circumstances of the hunter world. Four people are at odds with each other. Each having their own motives and their own backstories.
Sakae has spent the last four years of her life preparing for her revenge. Her only goal when returning to America-to rise to the top. She has a game to win, and she's not losing this time.
Jayden has spent most of her time trying to survive in this world. With no family to lean on but her ten year old sister, her stakes to becoming a hunter are high. She has to become a hunter, or everything she's sacrificed will mean nothing.
With the introduction of mana and hunter society, corruption is everywhere. Some are wondering how long it'll stay in power, and how long it'll take before someone decides to rebel.
For 22 year old Pheobe, she's created her own system of justice. Tired of the politics surrounding the hunter society, her goal is revenge against The National Hunters Association and every single hunter that's alive. But, it's not so simple when she's staring to lose the one thing that has always been by her side.
The man with the highest seat in the house. Ichiro Fujishima. The chairman of The National Hunters Association. He has everything he could ever want. Power, wealth, influence. You name it, he has it. Yet, there's a lot more behind him than just being the chairman.
