Krystin, Noel, Dylan, and Trent are stressed out. Krystin is trying to get into Harvard and her twin brother Noel can barely interact with the opposite sex without having a panic attack. College sophomore Dylan, their older brother, is working up the nerve for a possible proposal, and Trent, Noel's best friend, is drowning in his father's relentless pressure to join the military. Needless to say, their stress isn't entirely unfounded.

But when a deadly man-made virus breaks out and things like clean water and grocery shopping become things of the past, they see the stresses of their old lives as child's play.

As the virus gets closer, their two families worry about their dwindling resources and the roving criminals edging closer and closer to their homes, the outcomes of which would lead to far better deaths than catching the virus. Fortunately for these four, the cavalry comes, complete with a cure for the virus and a plan to ensure that it never returns and those still alive stay nice and healthy. But there's one big problem---the cavalry isn't human and their desire to help is self-serving. Something that Krystin, Noel, Dylan, and Trent ---as well as everyone around them--- are about to find out the hard way.

Jade Eadwald is an only child born to multi-billionaire parents with a load of murky, dark secrets and a past they would do anything to keep their only daughter from finding out. The Eadwalds move from house to house every year, constantly running from their past. But this fall, they have decided to move back to London, and Jade is set to join 'Bloodstone Academy' for the fall term. 'The Vampires of Ruin' have come to reside within the walls of Bloodstone Academy, and they seem to be on the hunt for something, or rather, someone important. The Blood Prophecy that was once told a hundred years ago has been retold, and vampires all over the world have grown agitated. Tension that's been building up for a century is at its peak, and The Vampires of Ruin are relentless in their search for the one the Prophecy speaks of. Until Jade walks into the school hallways on an early September morning. Wild-haired, with a mysterious, radiant beauty that makes the world swoon, Jade quickly catches the attention of two vampires. Finding herself trapped in the webs of a dangerous love triangle, Jade realizes the boys she's falling for are not human, and her new school is no regular high-school either. Something bigger than all of them is brewing, and Jade seems to be the sole catalyst to a disastrous event that will come to threaten the existence of all Vampires. Dark secrets are suddenly being dug out of the graves and tombstones, and the Eadwald's family secrets seem to be right in the mix, too. Will Jade survive being in the center of so much turmoil and destruction? Or will her heart be able to bear loving two immortals she might end up having to destroy? Book 1 of 2 Aislinn Jones has had a unique problem for as long as she can remember: her dreams. They are vivid and haunting, and plague her whenever she tries to rest. Her father's solution was to train her to a point of exhaustion where she was passing out instead of sleeping. It wasn't until her thirteenth birthday that one of her nightmares truly became a reality for her. After losing her home and her parents, she finds salvation in the gentle-hearted she-wolf named Rei, who adopts her and raises her alongside her son Ryan. Unfortunately, her nightmares don't end there. On her sixteenth birthday, when she expects to meet her other half-her wolf, she is horrified when her shift doesn't take place. Determined to find answers, the small family decide to make their way to the Royal Pack to investigate. King Darius was raised with the constant reminder that his mate would be his doom. It was because of this that the unmated King issued a Royal Decree banning unmated women from entering the Royal Pack. Faced with this, the trio must find another way in to get their answers. Through their scheming to enter the Royal Pack, they unwittingly begin untangling a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal. Together with some unexpected allies, the three must race to unmask the mole within the Royal Pack, and hope the King believes them.
