Katsukis world comes crumbling down at the revelation. An accident took place in the far north of Japan, where an abandoned lab had exploded due to the mixture of deadly chemicals. There were no survivors within a 10 mile radious from it until government officials were informed that people were reporting unsightly creatures roaming the streets, sending photos, videos, writing articles and casting the news about it until everyone around the world knew that they were no longer alone. Humans no longer ruled the top of the food chain. Hundreds of thousands of kids, adults, teens, and elderly have been devoured and killed in cold blood in just days. In their sleep.
