two assholes of teenagers, hunter sylvester and layla borland have been bestfriends since the third grade, ever since hunters mom left him in the 7th grade hunters style changed and he found metal, however layla is famous guitarist wes borlands daughter, so shes always been into that kind of music because its whats shes grown up with her whole life, layla and hunters friend kevin joined them as a friend group as well in the 7th grade, they create a band called skull fucker and go through a bunch of challenges in their highschool life, they find out that the school is having a battle of the bands event, hunter and layla are super stoked for this, kevin on the other hand thinks that he isnt fit to be a drum player he then meets emily and his focus turns over to her leaving hunter in anger and sadness but layla was always able to change that, layla has some serious anger issues and sometimes cant control it so it takes over her, alot of people treat her like shes invisible and it was that way for hunter as well, hunter and layla both come to their senses and realize they had feelings for eachother, crazy events happen and they end up earning #2 in the battle of bands and hunter earns a gross leg injury.
