Marisol is a seventeen-year-old girl living in 1385, Camelot, where a curse has been put upon. Born into poverty, she is trying to get enough money to help cure her mother from her deadly illness, when she is offered a job in the castle as a servant. Marisol accepts. There she meets Prince Thomas, son of King Arthur, who the befriends her. When Prince Thomas learns about Marisol's mother, he is happy to help. One day, while Thomas and Marisol are researching her mother's illness, they find an old prophecy, telling of a hero who will save their village. They eventually meet Edith, the first female captain of the Royal Guard. At fist, Edith stirs clear of the two, but unexpectedly gets pulled into the prince's and Marisol's plan to help save the kingdom. The question is, will they be able to pull it off before hell breaks lose?

Before you read the description of my book, I want to give a few quick disclaimers. The first one is that most of the chapters aren't very long, so the 60 chapters isn't as intimidating to read as it may seem. Second, my story does include the following things that some people may be uncomfortable reading. Cursing/Swearing. Violence, Sex Jokes, Homophobia, And child abuse. Specifically, Name calling, a few things thrown at the child, and scenes with violance against teens)I would give examples directly from the book that would make more sense, but I don't want to give any spoilers for future. I also wanted to say that there isn't anything like sex scenes or suicide, but this isn't for kids either. I won't be using the mature rating because it is not directly made for adults, or young kids. Again, it all depends on what you are aloud to read, or what you are comfortable with reading. Now with that out of the way, lets get to the description for the story itself. She never cared. That's what Hayden Hawksley thinks about his mother, and he wasn't wrong.
