Sparks fly between charity-shop owner Naomi Wu and grumpy app developer Leon Fink, as they travel to tropical Thailand in search of Leon's runaway bride and a priceless family heirloom.

Naomi Wu is a staunch believer in good karma.

Which is probably why she has a hard time saying no to people who come to her for help. So when an old friend calls and says she wants to stand her heartless fiancé at the altar, Naomi reluctantly agrees to become her getaway driver.

Afterwards, Naomi returns to the safety of her small charity shop in sleepy Burford, Washington, satisfied with yet another successful collection of good karma.

Leon Fink is a dating app developer whose lack of empathy has caused many to call him a high-functioning robot. He is driven, intense, and does not welcome surprises, good *or* bad.

Obviously, Leon is left fuming when his fiancée bails on their wedding for an impromptu trip to Thailand with his grandmother's ring in tow...possibly the only thing he cares about more than himself.

Despite their clashing personalities, the unlikely duo travel to Thailand in pursuit of the runaway bride and priceless heirloom, encountering mishaps along the way. But when sparks begin to fly between Naomi and Leon, they'll soon realize that sometimes when you're too busy looking for what you want, you end up missing what you truly need.
