In a world where peace is maintained through ever-stronger war machines, towering mechs have become the ultimate deterrents. No longer the agile tools of war, they now stand as unmoving sentinels-massive, heavily armed, and slow. But within this fragile peace, a new generation of pilots is still being trained, and among them is the enigmatic Xander Nova, a former prodigy whose return to Orion Academy raises eyebrows and suspicion.

At the heart of this change is the Nexus Drive system-a revolutionary mech interface designed to push machines to their peak potential. However, the Nexus Drive comes with a deadly flaw: it places an unbearable neural load on its pilots, risking their lives with every command. No one has fully mastered it yet, but rumors swirl that Xander, despite the pain it inflicts, can control it. But this isn't just a story of one pilot. The academy is filled with rivals, each eager to prove themselves, and ambitious leaders, determined to make their country the most formidable in this uneasy post-war world.

As tensions rise, the academy becomes a proving ground for the future of warfare. With ever-more dangerous machines and pilots driven by complex motives-ambition, duty, and even a death wish-the question remains: are they truly ready for the responsibility of such power? Progressive Ignition explores the clash between human fragility and mechanical might, where the desire for peace is offset by the constant preparation for war, and where the strongest mechs may still depend on the bravery-and survival-of their pilots.

Chapter 2: World War III (Running!!) Men are gone. Women rule. Imagine a world where men no longer matter-would you survive the matriarchy? What happens when feminism goes too far? This book explores the consequences of a future where the natural balance between men and women collapses. Feminism, having transcended all boundaries, reshapes humanity into a female-centered species. Men, stripped of purpose, exist as relics of the past, serving only as pets in a system that mirrors a hive, where women reign supreme. Biologically, mothers are the gatekeepers of life. Historically, survival forced men and women into partnership-men as protectors and providers, sometimes oppressors, while women adapted to survive under natural pressures. But when humanity masters nature, this necessity vanishes. With no war, famine, or struggle, cooperation dissolves. Robots and AI take over all labor, while science frees women from biological dependence on men, allowing reproduction through stem-cell technology. Men are no longer needed for survival, yet they are not entirely discarded, kept instead as sentimental pets. This is the final form of feminism: a system that abandons equality under the guise of progress, reducing men to a perpetual loop of servitude. Matriarchy: No Need for Men critiques a future where dominance replaces balance, and ideology supersedes the natural truths of human existence. It is a stark warning, not only for men but for all who value the delicate equilibrium that defines humanity.

It is the 33rd century, war still rages endlessly, and amongst the stars humanity remains fractured. The Galactic Empire, forged on the carcass of the old Republic, persists with its conquest for complete and unparalleled domination over the vast reaches of the cosmos, and to purge that which they see unfit as they spread their perversion of what the Republic once stood for. While independent rebel forces with their minuscule manpower each push back against The Emperor's cruel regime with all their might, they suffer tremendous casualties and are executed with exceptional cruelty. This new spark of a Galactic Civil War has already lit a fire too big to quell now, and will only get stronger. The Empire already has torn apart countless star systems, the inhabitants either joining the untold billions of the Empire, or being crushed under their heel. To be a man in such times is to live in fear, fear of the unchanging cruelty from the Emperor's iron fist, fear of stepping out of line. There is little hope in the midst of the scent of death and the cruel laughter of Imperial Officers, yet many hold on. Meanwhile in a distant and quiet sector of the galaxy, a planet known as Sylvaris resides, unscorched by blaster fire. Soon however, that will change, as a surviving Jedi has been located by Imperial spies on a planet called Ayidia, living in a nation referred to its citizens as "Forshaan". A young child known as Fletcher Carmine happily lives with his parents and his sister here in a shack in the woods, unaware of how drastically this day will change the trajectory of his life, and the galaxy as a whole. Act 1 is very heavily influenced by The Force Unleashed 1 Act 2 is still in development (Descriptions will be updated as more is written, there will also be a lot of revisions bc I'm always changing shit so my apologies for that)
