As you may know, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a disappointing sequel to the beloved Harry Potter series. It goes against aspects and "rules" of the HP universe that were established in the main series. This wouldn't be that big of a deal if it weren't for the fact that the whole plot is based around something that creates massive plot holes. Time travel. Jack Thorne butchered it so much and if you haven't read it, let me just tell you that there's a reason JK took away time travel in the later half of the series. I think the idea of Harry Potter's child living in his father's shadow and wanting to make his own unique mark on the world is a good concept, but could be applied in many (better) other ways.

In this rewrite, I have kept the same idea but have switched the conflict to Voldemort's followers gathering again (which was briefly mentioned in the original). I have removed all concepts of their being a child of Voldemort (because god forbid we switch antagonists), including with Delphini and Scorpius. They are still in the story, but with no tie to this concept. Instead, the rumor is that Scorpius was bitten by a werewolf because he was chosen by his father to reunite the followers of Voldemort. Delphini is still the daughter of Bellatrix but is now also the daughter of Rodolphus. Harry and other characters were given justice by having their personalities restored. In addition, I confirmed the Scorpius x Albus ship which was heavily hinted at in the original, because I think the forbidden love concept suits them well.

DISCLAIMER: This whole concept is credited completely to MovieFlame on YouTube. I, of course, took some creative liberty while writing, but I just absolutely loved his idea over my original one.
