She believes we created our own happy endings and is happily working her way towards her own by going to law school, juggling two part time jobs and staying the hell away from dating!
Her motto in life is work till you drop. Not necessarily meaning death but work, to earn and save as much as possibly before becoming physically incapable of doing so, and that's why everything could beat it till she was thirty!
She saw no harm in that and in all honesty, there wasn't until a certain bully from her school years magically pops back in her life to make her days living hell again.
