I finally got a glimpse of the outside. It's different. It's... not like it was before. It's still Kentucky. I mean there's trees, there's water, there's... no animals. My dogs are gone my cats are gone, and the humans I used to know are mostly gone. The buildings aren't functioning and most of them have collapsed. I have to survive out here. Where is James? Where are all the zombies... I guess I'll find out. Not like there's anything else to do.

Book 2 of "Under The Floorboards" is told by both Kendall and Mark, alternating every other chapter. The challenges they faced in the house are nothing compared to the cold, starvation, and creatures they have to face within an abandoned train station. Both groups set out, in search of each other. Soon enough, they realize how close together they were all along. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete
