This is a short story that I wrote for a grade at my school. This is about a little girl named Phoebe who moves to a new town with her mom and dad. She has all summer to make new friends, but instead of finding friends her age, she finds an older man named Mr. Gump. He's a grumpy old man who just needs a friend. Phoebe works hard to find her way into his heart and learns about his past. Read this heart touching story and find out how two people become friends forever

There, Phoebe is faced with a terrifying truth and has to fight to keep her and her new friends alive. Black island is the last place Phoebe wants to be but it's the only place where she can receive answers about who her real friends are, who the Mysterious Steven Bog is, her school Bully, Mason Thigs, and love she never thought she could receive.
