This is a short story that I wrote for a grade at my school. This is about a little girl named Phoebe who moves to a new town with her mom and dad. She has all summer to make new friends, but instead of finding friends her age, she finds an older man named Mr. Gump. He's a grumpy old man who just needs a friend.
