He stares at me from the side, his strong gaze adding weight to his words. He seems to want to add something else, but it doesn't come out. He stands up and holds his hand out for me to take. "Let's hunt." I smile and accept it, relying on him to get back on my feet. A strange feeling rises in my stomach as soon as my hand finds its place in his. But it isn't unpleasant, on the contrary, so I grip his hand tighter. He lets me and, almost blinded by the sun, I believe to see a soft smile tug on his lips. CURRENTLY BEING HEAVILY EDITED! In which a reader of the manhwa Solo Leveling is reincarnated as a second player and, despite her efforts, gets involved into the storyline until there is no going back. Added lore, added arcs. Now the day started normal for me. Walking out to the car, driving to work, and the driving back. A downside of work nightshift is that when the idiots come out. Just driving down the road when some drunk asshat flew through a stop sign I was driving past. Guess who happened to be in the way? That's right! Me! But given that they crashed into me going well over 60 in a 30 and into the driver's side. Well let's just say that there wasn't much I could do. And I was hoping to play some MHW when I got home to relax. Guess I'll never see a glorious Rathalos ever again. *Creating body.... Flying Wyvern Rathalos.... Hatchling* Wait what. --------------- So I'm back and with a TTIGRAAS X MHW fic. Now don't expect this to be updated super often obviously. Identity crisis? What's that? ---- An earthling's soul was born into an incompatible, human body. Their muscles misbehaved, their skin and body felt like a rigid shell, and their weak constitution left little options for any activities outside of paperwork, books and anything on a screen at home. Then the divine beings tried to correct the mistake and removed the mismatched soul from its unfitting body, slinging it to a distant world with a new body to control. The human flesh-prison replaced with the unlimited options of a shapeshifter, the soul has now a magic-filled world to explore. Grow fur for a mountain hike, grow gills and fins for a deep dive. It's time to catch up on decades worth of missed travels and activities. But who wants to deal with the flesh-craving predators called shapeshifters? Another global purge could start, if the freshly transferred soul shows its abilities too much. ---- The rankings are a mystery to me - especially after this story made it to No. 1 under the shapeshifter tag (and others).
