Blood stained the walls and the floor. Furniture tipped over in the dimly lit room. A dark figure stood in the room, a knife dangling between his fingers. He paced back and forth, painfully pulling his hair. He was looking for someone, me to be more precise.
Tears streamed down my face as I saw the limp bloodied bodies of my parents on the floor. I gagged as a metallic scent filled my nose. I covered my mouth to silence my sobs.
'Little dove,' his deep gravelly voice whispered, "I know you're in here!'
Loud laughter rang through the once peaceful home. I flinched at the noise, my eyes wide as i struggled to catch my breath.
He pushed an overturned table out of the way, "Don't you know baby girl You're already mine." he moaned out, licking the blood off the blade, "So why don't you come out of the closet and come to daddy." He rasped, turning his head in the direction of my hiding spot.
