Amity is still trying to figure out who she is and things only become more difficult after she meets Callie. With the start of their friendship, a whole new side of Amity begins to unravel in the most painfully beautiful way. Their friendship quickly evolves into a legendary and whirlwind romance that teaches Amity the strength and passion of love. Fears of being discovered by homophobic friends and family test the strength of their relationship. But teenagers are naive and, like Amity's mental health, they fall apart, turning a passionate love into a burning heartache. Can Reina and Calvin learn to speak up about their issues? Can they find their reasons to live? ______ "One day you'll leave me. You don't want a girl with a rape story," I said as I desperately tried to stop my sobs and hiccups. "You deserve someone who is prettier and more stable then me."
