Long before the Great War between Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels, Earth faced a different threat. The evil alien witch Rita Repulsa and her monstrous army sought to conquer the planet. Standing against her was the wise Sage Zordon and his allies, the Order of Meridian-ancient warriors who fought for peace and justice.
As Rita's defeat neared, she proposed a false truce. Despite warnings from the Order, Zordon went alone to the peace talks-and walked into a trap. She sealed him in a time warp. With his last mortal act, Zordon imprisoned Rita and her minions inside a cosmic dumpster, which the Order then launched into deep space.
Though now a being of pure energy, Zordon remained to protect Earth, aided by his robotic assistant Alpha. With the Order disbanded and Earth at peace, they waited... watched... and prepared.
A thousand years later, the supernatural world is in turmoil once again. Rita's son, Thrax, has returned from the void. Seeking revenge, he sends a stray devil to eliminate Zordon and clear the path for a new invasion.
But destiny chose a new defender. A 12-year-old boy named Jiro risked his life to stop the attack. Impressed by his courage, Zordon and Alpha took him in and trained him in secret for five long years.
Now 17, Jiro is ready. Chosen to wield the power of the Triceratops, he becomes Earth's first-and only-Blue Ranger in this new age. Armed with strength, honor, and five years of discipline under Zordon's guidance, Jiro will stand tall amidst Devils, Angels, and Fallen alike.
A new force has entered the supernatural war... and he's wearing blue.
"If he cannot stop it either, then the Wyvern of the Sea would sink this continent to the ocean floor."
Roy Excindo was supposed to be an anime otaku, hikikomori, and just an averagely smart Grade 10 student.
But somehow he ended up here, in Argentum Slimona, and started to fight for the people he called friends, as well as Outerworlders that were only supposed to exist in stories. And now he has taken out a Devil Lieutenant, a race 15 ranks higher than his own on a chart dictated by gods.
The next step of his journey was supposed to go to the Twinprint Archipelago to train, where many others like him do the same. In order to prepare for the fight in the tournament taking place in the capital, Roy sets off towards the seaside!
But hidden dangers and ascertain events lie ahead. Roy struggles to decide his destiny, but it all comes crashing down due to an assassin, a devil, a Wyvern, and... a god.
