Clara was a normal girl, she went to school, had friends, homework and an average teenage life. That is, until the monster showed up. Not only does the monster cause damage to her school and her perspective on the world, it damages her life. 
A mysterious boy appears and tells her what she really is, a Hunter. She and her friends join the Hunter's ranks only to figure out it isn't all fun and killing games. A dangerous predator lurks in the shadows, a creature from their leader's past. 
Although she is only a beginner, she is given the mission to hunt it down and destroy it. But her journey proves more deadly than she predicted. Creatures track her, and danger follows her at every turn. With all the forces of evil bent on tearing her apart, Clara is faced to make the decision to either turn tail and run or face her fears and learn to become what she was destined to be.
