"Honey can you feed Dixie?" My mom asked. "Noooo!" I replied, I already was late for my smoothie date with Maiyah. It was the last few days before school started again and I was about to be in eighth grade.
I guess I should've spent more time with Dixie those last few days, because little did I know I could lose him so sudden.
