Who am I? What am I? I look so different from the others. Why is it that I'm the only one built like this? I need answers. There's clearly something deeper into myself. Something like an origin. A race. A farm life is what I've chosen after my initial birth... Not really a birth, just my awakening into this barren land. Technological advancement isn't my forte, and I would prefer to live a simple life. That is, until these questions pop up in my head, and I seek answers to my curiosities.
Two years after the events of Changed, and following the events of Changed: Deep. Doctor K, using the profound technology his close friend left him, have developed a lifeform with advanced mutations. A technological successor from it's two predecessors. The advancement is proven a breakthrough, until the new life began thinking of it's own and questions about itself.

The Green Eyed's Tale - A Changed Story

I've moved into my own projects, I've grown to be more mature, and I've grown out of Changed, in fact, I've sort of taken a slight tint of dislike towards it, I'm still proud of the original book, I won't lie, it was the best I could do in a while, but there's so much better I can write and make. This story helped me create plenty of characters and finetune some already existing character lore I have, in fact, I've been working on an original story for a potential game or animatic utilizing the protagonist of the main book with my refined art skills, it does resemble the original in that it takes place in a facility infested by humanoid-half animal monsters, but that's about it. /// DISCLAIMER END /// Who am I? Who was my family? Where are my friends? Why am I here? This story takes place in an alternate timeline to the Changed video game, but everything remains practically the same. It takes inspiration from Awful Hospital: Seriously the Worst Ever, and combines it with my writing style. This story tries to put aside the transformation fetish aspect of the original game to provide a solid story. Meet our protagonist, you should probably know the drill by now: They awoke at a facility. Weird furry things are trying their best to catch him, but unlike the last person that tried to survive in this facility, he's been lucky enough to have come across several tools to help him out. The story is told through the entries and sketches our protagonist uses to remain calm. This story contains slightly-gratuitous coarse language from our protagonist every so often. Although no sexual content is present in the story, it was built under a furry transformation game, thus it can be slightly uncomfortable to certain groups of people. Changed - Awakening
Waking up with no memory in an abandoned institute is not a great start to anyone's day. So, like any other person, you set off to find your way out, get your bearings, and find answers to why you were locked in a stasis pod in the first place. However, this place is not as abandoned as it may first seem. Like any high-level science project gone wrong, artificial latex-like creatures are on the loose and the lone survivor (you) will undoubtedly see many of them along the way. Changed - Awakening is a fanfic based on the game Changed. Although it's not necessary to know the game, I personally recommend familiarizing yourself with it before reading this story. Original release: 2020 Two paths stretch before Jora as he awakens in the hospital without memory nor any known records: on one, a doctor wishes to help him recover his memory; on the other, a scientist wishes to do the same. However, on their quest for the truth, not everybody has his well-being in mind as they discover the reality of his situation puts their own goals in danger. A combination of Science Fiction and Fantasy that embraces the bizarre, and is wrapped in mystery with some aspects of horror. 2020 Author's Notes are available in the comments. I highly recommend reading the chapters first! 2024 Author's Note: This story has been cancelled, and is due to be rewritten. Many aspects may likely change in the future, though. I originally took down this story because I disliked the universe I'd set up as well as the execution of the story itself, and intended on doing a reimagining. That second take came and went, burning myself out over struggles to pace it well thanks to its highly unusual and experimental structure. This story was also taken down to prevent some of the events that occurred later in it from spoiling the latter parts of "Redwater Riot." That said, I feel like it would be a good idea to rerelease this story as a sort of museum work, a way to look at what my writing was back then and how it has changed over time. I don't intend on finishing "Polaris Garden," though I do intend on a rewrite in a later "Imperial Reach: Awakening." Something much closer to what this was than what I'd done before. The world is screwed up place. Everyone in it just wants peace when it isn't promised to nobody. We work for ourselves to try to improve our ways of life only for someone who has more to take it. Everything is about monetary gain and if you don't got the green you better have a way to survive. Help wont come when you need it. There is no home and having shame is a simple thing of the past. We all tell people to have hope. We tell them that if they work hard enough that change will eventually come and with that change they will find their happy ending. I've watched humans kill for that happy ending. I've committed murder when a tyrant thought to torture the only good thing in this world I have ever found in this fucked up place. Even when I tried to save it, I still lost it. Yeah, you heard right. I am no saint. This world is far from cupcake and t ,rainbows and their isn't not one soul that could tell me different. I have had to fight to survive since the day I lii I broke out of an egg into this world. No one has ever known where I came from and from the moment I got here I've never know any kindness. I have always been the odd one out because I was different. I'm not talking different just because the color of my skin. I'm talking different because when I get well and truly pissed I turn into a vicious monster. I'm not talking a kiddie monster like the one that creeps under your bed while you are sleeping or chooses to hide in your closet. I'm the type that you cant get away from. His barista-slash-janitor job at a small café was about to vanish forever, leaving him stranded in a world that didn't seem to have room for him. They were urgently seeking hires, and there it is, the janitor role. The pay looked solid, and cleaning was the one thing Kyle could confidently say he was good at. Sure, the email felt strange.
