Arani Jakal was not prepared to be stranded on an unfamiliar planet, causing her whole life to change. But in the chaos, a friend or two popped up - seemingly from nowhere - wishing to help. Ari gladly accepted and quickly became part of a small town, where her best friend was the lawmaker. But like everything in life, the tranquillity faded and what was left was Sand Raiders and a Beast ready to destroy the town at any moment.

Then one day, while out visiting a friend in a nearby town, a Mandalorian appeared, looking for others of his kind. And while Ari did not personally know any other Mandos, she did know of someone who had Mandalorian armour. She led the bounty hunter to him, and they struck up a deal: death to the monster for the armour.

Alongside Arani, the two men enacted their plan, but nothing goes according to plan.

CURRENTLY ON HOLD TO WRITE SEASON 2! (Begins at the ending of episode 5, season 1, and so on. But it does sometimes venture from the show time to time. Mando needs a guide to the Madlands, she needs a ride that can keep her one step ahead of the Ministry. ------ Set after The Mandalorian season two: Searching for his lost Tribe, Mando has followed hints of a trail all the way to the Madlands - a distant and notoriously difficult corner of the galaxy. Between the ever-shifting spatial anomalies and the sector's primary syndicate, he'll need a guide. The information trader that he takes aboard the Razor Crest can certainly help in his search, if they can both stay ahead of the growing trouble she seems to have gotten herself into. ------ Thank you for taking a look at my story - a plot-rich slow-burn with (what I feel are) rewarding pay-offs, plus some fun and adventure along the way! ------ Here's a sample paragraph (spoiler-alert!): "Mando settled back into the pilot's seat while Grey took her spot and dragged a datapad onto her lap. When he looked back a few minutes later, she was fast asleep. He sighed, stood, and came to move the screen out of her limp hands. As he carefully pulled it away, the signet caught his attention. She was still wearing it, perhaps hadn't once taken it off. Her cloak was unclasped, and the pendant sat half on the skin of her sternum, half on the soft fabric of her tank as it swelled over her breasts. Having the metal wrought into the shape of his Mudhorn had probably been a level of detail beyond what the ruse required. But he hadn't wanted to give her someone else's mark, or even something more general. Staring at it as it rose and fell with each of her breaths, Mando felt the surge of an emotion that he knew had no place to go." Notes: • Diverges from in-show plot points beginning with the Book of Boba Fett • Canon-compliant, with one ship-sized exception: the Razor Crest was not destroyed (because, Razor Crest) • Beyond Mando himself, mostly original characters + all original narrative, worlds, etc. • Plot-rich slow-burn • Rating: M - Mild Violence & Smut

See Me, See You: A Mandalorian Story

Reina Beckett is blind, but that doesn't necessarily means she can't see what or who is around her. She is a bounty hunter who agrees to take on a job with the notorious, but mysterious Mandalorian. Their motives and morals intertwine and Reina learns that the rumors she has heard about Mando do not compliment his good heart. On the other hand, for someone who honors the Mandolorian code of never revealing his face to any living being, Mando, or Din Djarin, grows to trust Reina. Maybe even enough to...after all, she is blind. ***I DO NOT OWN THE ORIGINAL MANDALORIAN CHARACTERS*** ***I DO OWN REINA BECKETT*** DISCLAIMER: SPOILERS for those who have not seen The Mandalorian
