Amara Stark wanted a simple life in the North. She wanted the cold, the snow, and to never have to deal with those in the south. She had no ambitions to ever leave her home, she loved it too much. She didn't believe she'd ever love anything more than the North. 

Rhaegar Targaryen wanted to be better than his mad father. He knew, in order to be a good king, he needed a strong woman by his side. But he didn't just want any woman to be his queen, he wanted it to be someone he loved. 

Neither wolf nor dragon were aware of what exactly fate had in store for them. For the prince that is promised will be both fire and ice.
