Frank's always been a sensitive kid. Whether it's crying over rejection or getting sick four times a year, he's never been the most held together person. So of course when his mom gets a one year job opportunity and he's forced to move from Belleville, New Jersey, to Albany, New York, saying he's a little bummed is a massive understatement. But he'll be fine, right? I mean, no one's ever died from switching schools. And hey, how bad can it be if it's only a year?

He's homeschooled as well, which means he only ever leaves to get groceries. For how little he leaves the house, and how closed off he is, it's quite a wonder how he met Frank. Frank is an extrovert and he kind of lacks boundaries when it comes to making friends. He's curious and speaks his mind constantly, which sometimes gets him into trouble. It must be good for something though, because not many people bother to figure out Gerard. Gerard's a mess. He smokes and drinks, and he's a miserable piece of shit. He could never find a job and never had much friends. Though when Mikey called him one day, he offered Gerard a job at the All Boys Christian private school just a few blocks downtown. When he goes to work each week, a student in particular starts getting on his soft side even though their love is illegal.
