Working at her family's inn in the village Amara and far from the war raging through the rest of Cordelia, Aven Rose Knight doesn't think her dreams of adventure and excitement will ever be fulfilled. She resigns herself to only ever being able to read of such adventures in books until one warm spring morning when three very interesting customers come to the inn.
After discovering that the old, rusted dagger that her family kept under the counter just in case was actually the infamous Red Dagger, Aven embarks on the quest of a lifetime to save her kingdom from impeding doom. She soon learns that the fate of the world really is resting on her shoulders, and her shoulders only.
With more than just physical obstacles in the way, several armies after her, and only two people she can even really trust, Aven's quest has impossible odds. Will she make it, or will she be killed before she can stop the war?

My NaNoWriMo novel from November 1st 2016-June 8th 2017 ft. My 2019 self's astute critique. ~~ Miryanna Heolstor is a lady of Terinnia, the niece of the king himself. Ever since she was young she's wanted to follow her father's footsteps and become an ambassador to the land of Fasik. But a new threat is building that will put being an ambassador far from her mind. Her friend Andarin is involved in a secret organization called the Erglis that protects the kingdom from people and organizations who would do it harm. Miryanna wants in. Even if those people and organizations are Karayan Batal and the Vanags. A bloodthirsty group and a passionate and powerful man who's goal is to overtake the land of Terinnia and lay it bare to the hostile Empire of Amani's clutches. Miryanna never thought she'd be butting heads with her kingdom's greatest threat, but while Karayan does his utmost to upset the deffences of her and the Erglis, she does everything in her power to keep his hands off the things she loves, finding a formidable antagonist in the process. Can Miryanna find the strength within her to do all she can for her friends and the land of Terinnia? Or will she become another victim in a power play by an overambitious empire? ~~ Fantasy/adventure, a bit of cringe, a lot of not knowing what I'm doing.
