Dirtless

Aliens making contact in 1870 changed the course of history. With first contact came new technology, and new threats. A twelve year war for resources led to a military government, and the culture of Earth was forever changed.

Now, it's 1929, and Frances North is about to graduate from military college as one of the school's first female engineers, when a bad decision and a personal tragedy change everything.

She does the only thing she can think to do. She leaves her home and everything she knows behind and embarks on an adventure into the stars, learning about the universe and herself in the process. She also learns a few bigger truths she wasn't prepared for and doesn't know what to do with.

It just might turn out that the only real way forward is revolution.
