An individual of the cheap mass produced army robots, X11-5-1 was in hibernation mode until the automated systems activated it once the battery got low enough.
Finding itself on a planet seemingly back in the middle ages where the most complicated weapon seems to be crossbows it doesn't seem to be in any form of danger at the moment.

Befriending a local to the world, the robot, who becomes named Rob, needs to not only find a way to charge its powercell but also deal with the locals having various thoughts and plans for this metal man.
Not only that, but how will it handle the fact that Magic is a real and proveable force in this world?

I can flesh out and write more if it's interesting, but this was a random idea based on a random inspiration. :)

This is based on a robot I designed and modelled a while ago.
