Teeth and Claws

Leah Clearwater had always been sharp around the edges; bitter, resentful. She knew pain like a knife to the gut and anger like a hot coal in the heart. Becoming a werewolf was the only thing that could have saved her from herself, though she never cared to admit it. Wracked with thoughts of self-loathing and guilt, Leah tried to drown them all out by focusing on work - anything to keep busy until she could get home and bury herself under her covers.
