The Final Hour
As kids you grow up preparing for everything but no one prepares you for when someone brings a gun to school. An emotional and intense book told from five different perspectives of a friend group trapped in the school with a shooter. At 12:14 pm Cameron Mansfield shoots off two bullets with Ava-Joy Miller, Walker Langston, and Cory Boreson in the same class as him. Noah Kingsman sits unbeknownst to the utter chaos happening beneath him on the second floor with his sister Sarah out in her car during her free period. When doors are chained and bullets start flying they all become separated with one goal in mind. Survive. Promises and deals are made to stay alive some to friends, some to oneself, and some to God. With their friends and lovers still stuck in the school Sarah and Cory share their grief and pain on the outside while Noah, Walker, and Ava-Joy share their fear and adrenaline on the inside A web novel with the first half of the book told from their perspectives during the shooting. While the second half focuses on the survivor's journey to recovery and healing with each other. Five friends trapped in different ways, three inside and two outside and by the end of it the survivor's realize only one hour of pure fear, chaos, pain, and loss has passed.
