Plagued by an obscure ability since she was little, (y/n) had always found it difficult to see the good in people. How could she, when so many were filled with negative emotions. It was suffocating. Everyone was the same and therefore everyone was tainted. Maybe it was normal, human even, to see such things in others.
This ideal is further solidified after she encounters a certain someone. A boy unlike anyone she had ever met.

As I turn a corner, I collide into a tall yet sturdy figure. It was another boy. Stumbling back a bit, an apology sits at the tip of my tongue, "Oh! I'm sorr-" before it dies out as I look directly at his chest.
'He... he doesn't have one.'
Where I'd normally see a flickering blaze of some sort, lies an isolated core. Not an ounce of light coming from within it. I had never before seen someone's core so clearly. It was unsettling.
'It's like he's a walking shell. Completely devoid of what makes a person... human.'

However, it will be a little less cliché( no god or deity showing the videos) and will focus on Kiyotaka's mentality as he grows older in the white room. Before you read: 1.
