Paper Hunter: A Paper Mario Parody

When Princess Bowsette's Koopa Kingdom is threatened by a fungal fiend once thought to have been defeated long ago, it is said that a chosen one will arise and restore peace throughout the land... Or at least, that's how it was supposed to happen. Unfortunately, the chosen one was out of the kingdom at the time, leaving them with the chosen one's inexperienced cousin to fill in his role. May God (or whoever you worship) have mercy on their poor souls...

This story (if you couldn't tell by the title) is a parody/retelling of Paper Mario on the Nintendo 64. Don't be fooled, just because the main character is an author insert. It doesn't mean that I'm gonna try and feed my ego with this story. In fact, I plan on making the story version of myself kind of a pathetic loser. If you're a fan of 4th wall breaks, self-aware humor, and (obviously) the original Paper Mario, feel free to give this a read! Hopefully, you'll like what you find inside.
