I half-smiled, held in a scoff at the question. "If you have to ask, then you have not been listening."
She hummed lightly, though her eyes were anything but light. Persistent as she was, she asked again, "I have been busy with something else. So? Are you?"
"More than you'd think," I answered honestly. At her silence, I couldn't help but add, "Unlike you, I'm not a hypocrite."
